Our Story
Hey there! Thanks for taking the time to get to know us. My name is William Hancock, and I am the owner of West Coast Pro Painting. Originally from Haida Gwaii, I moved to Victoria in 2016 to study business and economics at Uvic. During my studies I took a summer job to be part of a student house painting team. The experience struck a chord, and I decided to take the leap and start my own student painting business.
By 2022, I found myself managing one of the largest student-based painting businesses in Canada. The year was a resounding success, marked by great reviews and a quality workmanship award to cap it off.
Fueled by a desire to pursue my own vision, I decided to establish West Coast Pro Painting. Our mission is to deliver high-quality painting services in the greater Victoria area as well as to set the standard for workplace excellence. How it works!
1. Call, or submit an online estimate request. We will discuss with you briefly over the phone what you are looking at having done and set a time and day for the estimate.
2. At the estimate we will meet with you and do a walk around the property. After that, we will take measurements and notes, and create your detailed estimate. The whole process takes about 1 hour, but we will just need you for the first and last 5 minutes.
3. Once the estimate is accepted we will set a timeline for the project. We will phone and check in with you 2-3 weeks in advance to set a firm date unless specified beforehand.
4. Once the job is finished we will do a thorough walk around with you. Once confirmed that everything is complete to your satisfaction, we will collect the final payment.
